As a Lease Operator you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. The role requires extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of oil and gas and be capable of troubleshooting various production systems.
At least three years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries.
Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime based on work activity.
The position will require a pick-up truck to perform duties. The provider will need to provide a truck for the individual.
Position will be required to take callouts on a rotating schedule.
5+ years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries, including experience with regulations and the maintenance and testing requirements associated with related safety devices.
In depth understanding of upstream facilities including, but not limited to: separation, pumping, gathering, tankage, lact sales, metering, and compression.
Broad knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and maintain major oil and gas production facility process systems including: mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and production equipment.
Capable of simultaneously performing multiple tasks with limited supervision.
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers.
