The Operating Procedures Technical Writer is responsible for writing standard operating procedures for a customer’s Gulf of America (GoA) offshore facilities and ensuring procedures are accurate, compliant, and consistent for existing assets, new developments, and brownfield projects. Responsible for providing technical writing support for policies and procedures as necessary to support GoA operations.
This position is to work in a customer’s office in Woodlands, TX. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius or provide their own housing due to this position having no housing allowance. The work schedule is a 9/80 office schedule working a 40-hour week.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Communication, Operations, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent offshore oil and gas operations experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
