The Compressor Mechanic supports the maintenance and operation of one or more compressor packages and associated equipment. This role is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance (PM), assisting with diagnostics and repairs, and providing operational feedback to ensure safe, reliable compressor performance. The position may also support additional field locations and collaborate with other mechanics as needed. Candidates should possess foundational mechanical skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Perform maintenance and basic repairs on compressor packages and related equipment.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
• Provide operational feedback on compressor performance and equipment condition.
• Support troubleshooting efforts, including entry-level diagnostics and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and field personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Follow all company safety procedures, regulations, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records and reports.
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and manlifts when required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: OEM training, trade school, or equivalent industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of gas processes and mechanical systems for motor compressors (e.g., Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in compression processes, production, or related equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test (UA), MVR Check, agility, and Fit for Duty.
