Overview

The Measurement/Diagrams Verifier supports the Measurement Department by creating, updating, and validating Site Facility Diagrams (SFDs) for oil and gas production sites. This role includes both office-based drafting work and field verification to ensure diagrams accurately reflect current facility configurations and comply with regulatory and internal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create new Site Facility Diagrams (SFDs) for measurement sites using Muddy Boots Online (MBO) or similar drafting tools.

  • Review, update, and correct existing SFDs to reflect accurate equipment layout, flow paths, and measurement points.

  • Conduct field visits to production facilities to verify equipment, piping, and measurement devices.

  • Collaborate with Measurement Foremen, Engineers, and Operations personnel to gather data and resolve discrepancies.

  • Ensure all diagrams meet applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., BLM, state agencies) and internal quality standards.

  • Maintain organized records of SFD revisions and updates within company systems.

  • Support audits and inspections by providing accurate and current facility documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Technical drafting or CAD certification preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in oil and gas measurement or drafting strongly preferred

  • 2+ years of experience as a Lease Operator beneficial

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MBO, or similar drafting software

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret P&IDs and facility layouts

  • Ability to work independently in both office and field environments

  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test (UA), agility and fit for duty.
