This intermediate-level position supports safe and efficient production site operations through hands-on field work. The Field Service Technician operates a variety of power tools and equipment and performs physical labor related to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wellhead and flow control equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to wellhead components and flow control equipment
Coordinate ordering of parts and schedule routine and emergency repairs as needed
Respond to and manage One Call tickets in preparation for construction and maintenance activities
Ensure all applicable codes and specifications are followed when ordering, installing, and maintaining wellhead and flow control equipment, including work performed by third-party vendors
Collaborate with engineering and field teams to support equipment design changes aimed at reducing failures and improving operational efficiency
Work with internal teams to establish expectations and performance standards for contractors, ensuring compliance with all environmental, safety, and operational requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to monitor field operations to ensure quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and compliance with underground utility requirements
Ability to read and interpret manuals, policies, procedures, permits, governmental regulations, engineering drawings, job-specific reports, maps, and correspondence
