A temporary offshore Warehouseman is responsible for managing material coordination priorities, ensuring timely delivery of essential production and safety maintenance materials in offshore facilities.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day material coordination priorities to maintain facility integrity and comply with Integrity Management (IM) Standards.
Coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery of all essential preventative and breakdown production, safety, and safety-critical maintenance.
Work with Offshore and Onshore Maintenance Planners to develop and execute material delivery plans.
Track inventory in SAP system.
Provide materials needed for long-term and turnaround plans as required.
Understand and comply with the Management of Change process for all procedural, equipment, or process changes.
Qualifications
This is a temporary position with a length of 3-6 months (with a possibility of becoming permanent) to keep track of materials for commissioning and start up phases of the platform.
The position may require visits to the warehouse in Shriever, LA with a 40-hr. week schedule. Will work an 84-hr. week while working offshore on a 14x14 rotation schedule.
Must be able to commute to warehouse in Shriever, LA while working onshore.
3-4 years of experience in inventory/materials management of offshore equipment, logistics, and/or inventory management.
Computer proficiency
SAP experience preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills in a team environment.
