The Quality Lead is responsible for driving the successful implementation of quality management systems across engineering, procurement, and construction activities. This role ensures that all project deliverables including services, equipment, and materials meet contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Lead provides leadership, oversight, and technical expertise to promote a strong quality culture and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide leadership to implement and maintain engineering, procurement, and site quality systems.
Promote quality awareness and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all project teams.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, purchase orders, codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
Deliver QA/QC technical expertise to verify that all supplied materials, equipment, and services meet required standards.
Oversee development and implementation of project-specific Surveillance Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
Monitor quality metrics to identify trends, investigate issues, and drive timely resolution.
Evaluate and monitor contractor quality management systems, identifying deficiencies and driving corrective actions.
Conduct audits, assessments, and surveillance activities to ensure contractor performance aligns with project expectations.
Provide direction and oversight to discipline inspectors and quality personnel.
Support the Project Team in resolving quality-related issues and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and implemented.
