Overview

The WMS Field/Office Support Specialist provides direct support to assigned work teams in the implementation, training, and sustainment of the Work Management System (WMS). This role bridges field operations and office oversight, ensuring alignment with First Line Supervisors (FLS), Second Line Supervisors (SLS), and WMS Champions. The position also supports Process Safety Management System (PSMS) training efforts as time allows, contributing to safe, efficient, and standardized work practices across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide WMS support to assigned work teams in both field and office settings.

  • Conduct Work Management (WM) Assessments during field engagements.

  • Share learnings and challenges with XOM Oversight, FLS, and SLS.

  • Encourage supervisors to conduct WM Assessments during their own field engagements.

  • Support WMS and PSMS training efforts as time allows.

  • Deliver training modules and assist in developing team training skills.

  • Verify training completion and assist with scheduling for employees and contractors.

  • Create clarity and train teams in the use of WMS tools (KPA, AGT, ICC, TDs, etc.).

  • Align with FLS and SLS on WMS roles and responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with NM WMS Champions on implementation and sustainment.

  • Share learnings and challenges during WMS Champion meetings.

  • Attend team and safety meetings to provide updates and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Work Management System (WMS) tools (KPA, AGT, ICC, TDs).

  • Ability to conduct and interpret WM Assessments.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration.

  • Experience working with supervisors and cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management System (PSMS) principles.

  • Flexibility to balance field and office responsibilities.

  • Commitment to promoting safe work practices and compliance.

  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug screening, MVR check, and fit for duty/agility test.
