We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Specialist II to join our team at Kermit Haley Tower. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with powerline work and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This position involves close collaboration with engineers, field technicians, and operations teams to ensure electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, focusing on powerline infrastructure.

• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects.

• Ensure all work complies with OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and methods.

• Document and report maintenance activities, issues, and resolutions accurately.

• Support ongoing maintenance, construction, and reliability improvement projects.

• Minimum 6 years of experience as an electrical specialist, electrician, or in a related field — powerline experience required.

• Proven ability to install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems.

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

• Experience with high-voltage systems and field-based troubleshooting preferred.

• Must be able to work independently and follow safety and environmental procedures.

• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test (hair follicle, MVR check, and fit for duty/agility test.
