The Land Scanning/Indexing Specialist supports the Unconventional Land and Land Services teams by preparing, scanning, indexing, and routing physical and electronic documents into the enterprise content management (ECM) system. This position ensures accurate digital conversion of records, organizes legacy data, and maintains high standards of document quality and traceability across all Land functions.
Collect, process, and prepare incoming physical documents for scanning.
Scan physical documents and perform electronic indexing, routing, and quality control.
Process and distribute documents electronically to appropriate Land groups.
Maintain and track both physical and electronic file inventories for retention and archiving.
Verify accuracy and completeness of scanned and indexed files within the ECM system.
Identify and correct document errors or inconsistencies; escalate non-routine issues.
Assist in improving scanning, indexing, and routing processes to enhance efficiency.
Support Unconventional Land and Land Services projects and ensure document compliance.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with ECM systems, DrillingInfo, regulatory databases, and county digital record systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document handling.
Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet daily deadlines.
Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs regularly and working with large batches of documents.
