The Measurement Technician II is responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing measurement equipment to ensure accurate data collection. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to perform route-based work independently, while also supporting team efforts as needed.
Perform routine field tasks such as gas meter calibrations, orifice plate inspections, and LACT proving.
Coordinate and witness third-party calibrations of measurement devices.
Maintain detailed records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Obtain and transport gas samples for quality testing and analysis.
Safely operate and traverse oilfield lease roads and facilities.
Support operational needs by working overtime or being on-call when required.
Experience with ABB Totalflow, Fisher ROC EFMs, Emerson 4088B, Coriolis Meters, Ultrasonic Meters, and Turbine Meters.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to adapt to new technologies and equipment.
Knowledge of BLM regulations and general production equipment/process flow preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty
Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
