Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Warehouse Specialist to join our Supply Chain group in Carlsbad, NM. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The position will support both office and field operations and may include occasional travel to regional yards, vendor locations, or field sites (10–15%).

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine physical inventory counts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Record and track all inbound and outbound material movements in SAP for the Carlsbad yard and warehouse.
  • Create purchase requisitions for both materials and subcontracting.
  • Work closely with SCM buyers and operations teams to monitor and manage on-hand inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements such as SOX and COPAS.
  • Provide support to field operations and projects through occasional site visits.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Materials Management required.
  • Proficiency with SAP; prior Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills (MS Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently in both office and field environments.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
  • Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms. 
  • Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.
