Overview

The Water Logistics Coordinator is responsible for consolidating and managing water logistics activities to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective fluid hauling operations. This role ensures the execution of commercial and logistical strategies by coordinating internal resources and vendor assets, building strong vendor partnerships, and analyzing data to drive continuous improvements in water management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute fluid hauling and water disposal strategy by coordinating assets between internal teams and vendors to meet operational demand safely and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with field operations and trucking companies, ensuring high levels of service quality.
  • Apply business acumen to evaluate trucking company rates, performance, and integrity to support long-term partnerships.
  • Optimize logistics by utilizing assets closest to the area of need, while scheduling available resources to minimize downtime, reduce costs, and ensure safety goals are met.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams from other areas to ensure proper utilization of resources.
  • Strengthen and grow vendor relationships at all levels (drivers, dispatchers, supervisors, yard managers, district managers).
  • Evaluate and recommend new vendors when needed.
  • Audit field tickets, manage, and approve invoices for fluid hauling and water disposal services.
  • Split time between the office and field to ensure full visibility of operations.
  • Learn and utilize systems and applications (e.g., IronSight, SAP, WEP, Cygnet, Measurement, Iconic, PI) to analyze data and support decision-making.
  • Leverage analytics and reporting (graphs, system data) to track performance and drive improvements in water logistics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics coordination, trucking, or water management required.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and use reporting tools for operational improvements.

  • Proficiency in relevant software systems and applications is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to balance office work with field presence.

  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
