An Electrician 3 assists with installing electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring while following project guidelines and safety standards in oil and gas production environments.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wire, and supports
Install non-complex conduit runs and supports with some supervision
Demonstrate knowledge of electrical materials
Perform general electrical work, including pulling cable and wire
Understand and interpret simple loop drawings
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2+ years of electrical experience preferred
Valid Texas Apprentice Electrical License
Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred (training available)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervision
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and perform bending and stooping
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respirator
Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
