As a Production Tech I you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule.
Responsibilities
Monitor, operate, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on well-site facilities.
Collect and analyze production data to optimize performance.
Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies.
Work collaboratively with field personnel to maintain production targets.
Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.
Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection and water disposal.
Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
Job is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
Qualifications
Previous experience in oil and gas production operations preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a field environment, including exposure to various weather conditions.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.
