Overview

We are seeking an Emissions/LDAR Technician to join our team in Levelland, TX. This role is responsible for assisting with the monitoring, recording, and management of air emissions in compliance with regulatory requirements and company environmental policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in environmental science and compliance, attention to detail, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting and documenting emissions data from production facilities, equipment, and operations.
  • Support compliance efforts with state, federal, and company-specific environmental regulations on air quality and greenhouse gases.
  • Maintain accurate and complete emissions data in both electronic and manual databases.
  • Assist with periodic inspections to identify potential emissions sources or concerns.
  • Contribute to preparing emissions reports for regulatory agencies, internal use, and audits.
  • Help calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot emissions monitoring equipment.
  • Participate in training to stay current with standards, best practices, and technologies.
  • Follow a safety-first culture and ensure all activities align with company safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • 1+ yr. of Emissions/LDAR experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification preferred but not required
  • Must live within a 45 mile radius from Levelland, TX. Housing is NOT provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Basic understanding of environmental regulations and compliance (preferred)
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and standards
  • Physical Requirements: Comfortable working under supplied air and at heights, including use of a manlift, Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capable of walking, climbing, and working around heavy machinery, and Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
