Overview

The Field Operator II is responsible for supporting pipeline and facility operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of oil, gas, and condensate. This role involves daily operation of pipelines and Central Delivery Points (CDPs), including pigging, isolations, commissioning, decommissioning, and compliance with DOT and Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operations of pipelines and CDPs handling LP gas, HP gas, oil, and condensate.

  • Conduct pigging operations, energy isolations, and support commissioning and decommissioning activities.

  • Ensure compliance with DOT requirements and complete Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks as assigned.

  • Monitor and maintain facility operations, including managing oil sales to third-party vendors.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to maintain production efficiency and safety.

  • Document activities and maintain accurate operational records.

  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Field Operator in oil and gas pipeline or facility operations.

  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operations, pigging procedures, and energy isolation.

  • Experience with commissioning and decommissioning of pipelines and facilities.

  • Familiarity with DOT regulatory activities and OQ compliance.

  • Ability to work safely and effectively in field environments.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
