We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting automation systems, with an emphasis on Allen-Bradley PLC programming and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in industrial automation, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, etc.).
Assist with the integration of new automation equipment and control systems into existing operations.
Support commissioning activities, including functional testing and startup of automated systems.
Develop and maintain documentation, including logic diagrams, wiring schematics, and program backups.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve automation issues.
Provide remote and on-site technical support for automation systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; 2-year degree in Instrumentation or Automation Technology preferred.
Experience working with RTUs, analog/discrete instrumentation, and communication protocols (serial, Ethernet)
Strong knowledge of Function Block, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text programming
