The Field Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting field operations by deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT and communication systems across remote oil and gas sites. This role ensures technology infrastructure is operational and secure, facilitates communication between field and office, and provides hands-on support for hardware and software systems. The analyst also collaborates with vendors, manages inventories, and enforces IT security measures in the field.
Deploy, mobilize, and demobilize communication systems to support field operations.
Configure, maintain, and support IS systems and field communications infrastructure.
Provide helpdesk support to field personnel for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Install and set up StarLink, satellite, internet, intercom, telecom, and remote monitoring equipment.
Support the deployment of camera systems across field locations.
Manage hardware and software inventories across field operations.
Work with third-party vendors to implement and maintain field technology solutions.
Utilize Microsoft tools (Active Directory, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and system support.
Promote and manage IT security policies and best practices in the field.
Complete additional technical duties as assigned.
