The Accounts Payable Clerk position involves processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring timely closure of accounts payable by monthly deadlines. The role requires a strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including both PO and non-PO processing, and the application of sales tax. The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to provide insights into accounting processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

• Learn and process accounts payable invoices.
• Handle both PO and non-PO processing of accounts payable.
• Understand complex processing related to accounts payable, including sales tax application.
• Close accounts payable by monthly deadlines and prepare necessary reports.
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Collaborate with various financial, operational, and data processing systems.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
