Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipeline Lead / Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of pipeline infrastructure, compressor stations, and related oilfield equipment. This leadership role requires advanced mechanical knowledge, experience with pigging operations, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising field tasks, ensuring safe operations, and mentoring field techs, while maintaining direct oversight of pipeline integrity and system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field activities related to inspection, maintenance, and repair of pipelines, valves, actuators, pumps, and compressor stations
  • Oversee safe and efficient pigging operations, including launching, receiving, and inspection
  • Monitor pipeline and compressor systems via SCADA; perform lockout/tagout procedures as required
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT, etc.); maintain documentation of all compliance-related activities
  • Respond to operational issues as part of an on-call rotation and act as the primary point of contact for assigned area
  • Identify and report any spills, coordinate response efforts, and ensure proper environmental practices are followed
  • Schedule and prioritize daily tasks for self and supporting technicians to ensure operational objectives are met
  • Work closely with operations supervisors to align field activities with broader operational goals
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior techs and contractors in the field

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of pipeline or midstream field experience, including pigging, liquid handling, and compressor operations preferred.

  • Previous leadership or foreman experience required.

  • Completion of basic safety and regulatory training (e.g., SafeLand, OSHA, DOT compliance)

  • Proficient in SCADA system monitoring and mechanical troubleshooting

  • Strong understanding of environmental and regulatory compliance in oilfield operations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
