Overview

With supervision, this role involves overseeing the start-up, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of process and utility systems, ensuring optimal performance within safety and regulatory guidelines. Under supervision responsibilities will include maintaining process parameters, troubleshooting issues to maximize production efficiency, ensuring discharge water quality, managing equipment calibration, and coordinating maintenance operations while adhering to safety protocols. This role provides rigging and crane assistance. The role also requires effective communication with team members, vendors, and subcontractors, maintaining accurate records, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Under supervision, start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down Process and Utility Systems
  • With supervision, monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc.) within operating requirements.
  • Rigging and assist crane operations
  • accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by company and client.
  • Witness third party calibrations when appropriate to provide verification of meter factors and volumes.
  • With supervision, prove export oil meters.
  • Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner. Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements
  • Under supervision, test, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipment
  • Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies
  • Coordinate logistics for facility
  • Under supervision, chemical treating and handling
  • Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required.
  • Operation under PTW system, Toolbox Talk and Risk Assessments.
  • Advise maintenance personnel on hazards of plant and equipment
  • Maintain clear and precise communications during maintenance operations.
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships
  • Create and maintain positive work culture.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years’ experience working offshore preferred
  • Technical degree from technical school or Associates degree preferred
  • Good experience of Permit to Work
  • Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG1 or equivalent
