Overview

The SAP Production & Revenue Analyst is responsible for providing development, production support, and innovative solutions for SAP PRA systems, with a strong focus on supporting Production and Revenue Accounting and related business processes. The role requires collaboration with business users, technical teams, and management to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide development and production support for SAP PRA systems.

  • Analyze complex problems and develop strategic, innovative solutions.

  • Document technical designs, specifications, and test case results accurately.

  • Support business operations by delivering timely technical assistance.

  • Collaborate with SAP analysts to develop solutions and assess business impacts.

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP solutions.

  • Research and respond to audit requests.

  • Manage the integration and implementation of third-party software as needed.

  • Interface regularly with Revenue and Division Order teams on support and business initiatives.

  • Communicate project status updates and feedback to management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of SAP PRA support experience (ERP 6.0 and/or S/4HANA).
  • 8 years of experience with ABAP, Dynpro, ABAP Objects, Web Dynpro, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, Smart Forms, SAP scripts, and Adobe Interactive Forms.
  • Bachelor's Degree required. 
  • Experience gathering requirements from business users.
  • Working knowledge of Revenue Accounting, Production Allocation, and Division Order processes.
  • Experience supporting State and Federal reporting requirements (Tax and Royalty).
  • Experience with 1099 reporting processes.
  • Experience supporting custom Net Profits Interest (NPI) processes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP standard functionality and ability to evaluate options.
  • Expertise in debugging and analyzing code.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and a customer service mindset.
  • Must meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, etc. 
  • Physical Requirements - Work will primarily be conducted in an office environment; travel may be required to district and field offices and/or oil and gas production facilities, with the occasional need to wear personal protective equipment. Position requires the ability to frequently communicate information and to manage the possible stress of an office environment. Work may include being stationary for long periods of time, with occasional movement about the office. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required. Position requires constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery.
