Overview

The position of a 14x14 rotational Shelf I&E Technician is responsible for the maintenance of control systems on platforms, calibration of equipment, regulatory compliance, and assisting in the development of I&E maintenance plans. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of control systems on platform. 
  • Calibration of equipment. 
  • Regulatory compliance. 
  • Assisting in the development of I&E maintenance plans. 
  • Strict adherence to all safety standards. 

Qualifications

  • Transportation costs covered by customer to and from California crew change location if candidate lives out of state. 14x14 rotation schedule.
  • Experience with 14c & Yokogawa is a plus. 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
  • 5+ years instrumentation/electrical experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in an offshore environment. 
  • Switchgear experience with 120V, 480V and 4160V experience required.
  • Bucket knowledge: breakers, terminations, potential transformers and general transformer knowledge preferred.
  • Splicing, terminating and basic electrical experience required.
  • Testing end devices to Delta V preferred.
  • Troubleshooting devices, transmitters, electronic components required.
  • Transmitter experience: calibrations, testing, servicing, and loop checks required.
  • Boat transfer and swing rope experience preferred.
  • Previous H2S field experience preferred.

Compensation Range

Salary: USD $45.00/Hr. - USD $45.00/Hr.
