A Shelf Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical equipment on offshore platforms in Houma, Louisiana, working on a 14/14 rotational schedule.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on electrical equipment such as motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, and power transducers.
Conduct electrical isolations and calibrate equipment as necessary.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards set by USCG and MMS.
Assist in developing electrical maintenance plans.
Adhere strictly to all safety standards.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
4+ years of electrical maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry.
Valid TWIC card.
Experience working on offshore oil and gas production platforms.
