The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with 1099 reporting and inquiries, researching tax tracker notifications and IRS levies, and reconciling and uploading documentation.
Responsibilities
Research tax tracker notifications and inquiries.
Assist with 1099 reporting and inquiries.
Research and track IRS levies.
Reconcile accounts, check accounts assignments, and upload to system.
Maintain desk manual.
Back up Escheat and credit admin desk responsibilities.
Respond to calls and correspondence promptly.
Collaborate on special projects with Supervisor/Coordinator.
Recommend and evaluate improvements and streamline opportunities in areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
Excellent communication, research, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others and handle unpleasant situations tactfully.
Positive attitude and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Intermediate Excel skills.
2-3 years of accounts payable experience or relevant college education.
