Overview

The Condition Monitoring E&I Tech manages, implements, and improves electrical condition based Predictive Maintenance Programs, including on-site continuous data collection, analysis and determination of recommendations for electrical equipment and instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, implement, and improve Electrical Condition based Predictive Maintenance Programs - including On-site continuous Data Collection, Analysis, and determination of recommendations for Electrical Equipment and Instruments.
  • Assist with RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis).
  • Identify opportunities to improve client plant reliability, availability and/or performance, collaborating with clients to turn to their advantage.
  • Provide support, mentoring and technical reviews for colleagues in the group in predictive and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Execute maintenance strategies and programs for clients whilst seeking opportunities to improve them utilizing the latest in data analytics techniques
  • Assist with Instrumentation and Electrical RCAs, providing technical input for equipment failures and troubleshooting projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

4+ years hands-on experience of managing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies, including Predictive Motor Circuit Analysis, Electrical Inspection Infrared Analysis (i.e., Fluke Thermography Certifications), Ultrasonic Analysis, and Partial Discharge Analysis.

  • Strong familiarity with condition monitoring instruments such as Fluke Thermography Cameras, PDMA MCE Testers, and Multimeters.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/NETA MTS-2019 Standard for Maintenance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Equipment and Systems preferred.
  • A high regard for, and practice of Health and Safety.
  • Minimum Electrical Qualified Person (OSHA 1910.332) Training, and NFPA-70E Arc Flash Training.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience of managing and/or implementing predictive and preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Recent experience in the Oil & Gas or mining sectors are highly desirable
  • Proficiency in the latest data analytics tools and techniques and a good working knowledge of Low to Medium Voltage Switchgear (up to 15KV).
  • Experienced user of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, JDE) advantageous
  • Client focused with good relationship building skills
  • Highly motivated, self-sufficient individual who nonetheless enjoys working as part of a supportive team
  • High level of English literacy, report writing skills, and computer proficiency
  • Committed to process compliance in practice management systems.
