Overview

A Maintenance Scheduler responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance scheduling efficiency, also scheduling all support including vendor, POB and material coordination required for offshore platform activities. Leading the offshore YTT and planning operating rhythms. Aligning capacities and loading schedules for several weeks out. Ensuring Integrated Asset schedule alignment and longterm maintenance program requirement needs are visible and managed. Tracking and managing job cycle time, costs, schedule compliance, schedule variances and schedule optimization. The Maintenance Scheduler, as reinforcement system owner, are responsible for equipment and process reliability and to validate that the operating strategies, maintenance strategies and related requirements are implemented effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of the offshore leadership the Maintenance Scheduler will:
  • Coordinate, rank and prioritize with the planners, crafts and offshore leadership to establish short, mid and longterm schedules.
  • Lead the YTT and planning operating rhythm and ensure visibility of new job scopes to be executed, ranked and prioritized.
  • Monitor and develops preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and schedule compliance targets
  • Support the roll out of work management expectations, business rules and requirements
  • Ensures maintenance and operation activities are adequate with correct resources, material, and cost estimates to deliver schedule
  • Creates daily and weekly schedules for maintenance activities and manage the 0-14-day schedule execution. Review and provides quality input to the Integrated Asset Schedules.
  • Validates the readiness of equipment availability, vendor requirements and materials for scheduled work
  • Support and guide SAP work management processes
  • Ensures break in work execution are ranked/ prioritized and follow work management expectations
  • Monitor worklog and backlog and supports the reduction of any maintenance backlog.
  • Updates and corrects master data through the master data change process
  • Confirms work execution and master data are in compliance with MOC expectations
  • Delivers efficient execution improvements, updates work center capacities, job duration estimates and loadlevelling of activities and longterm preventive maintenance program.
  • Escalates and makes any predicted and measured failure rates visible in order to optimize maintenance schedules
  • Prompts a lean continuous improvement culture by seeking common improvements opportunities across crews
  • Optimizes the efficiency of operational processes and work execution at all levels, ensuring lean continuous improvement principles are applied where necessary
  • Develop and document standardized job procedures (tools, materials, methods, quality criteria, required time, etc.)
  • Collaborate with GSC Materials and Procurement -and - maintenance service contractors to improve continuous material replenishment flow process (service levels, replenishment cycle time, Kanban management, etc.)
  • Lead and Mentor in order for continuous improvement with contractor and work streams
  • Document work management process improvements (e.g., business process flow charts, Standard work procedures, etc.)
  • Assess (Audit) contractors for conformance to standardized job procedures and business process flow requirements. Assess (Audit) work streams for conformance to business process flow procedures and data quality requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Must have technical background within a technical trade, operation or equivalent, field experience in construction and maintenance preferred
  • Strong Prometheus, Excel and SEMPCheck experience required
  • Advanced Lean knowledge (principles and tools), skills, and experience
  • Field experience, with Production operations experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of oilfield surface and subsurface equipment, maintenance processes
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail and process improvements
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft, SAP)
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment
