Overview

This position will be responsible for conducting testing operations on oil and gas wells, ensuring accurate measurements, and maintaining operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of leased properties ensuing compliance with safety and environmental regulations. 
  • Transport portable testing equipment to various well sites and set up for testing operations. 
  • Connect equipment to wellheads and conduct testing to measure pressures, fluid levels and other parameters. 
  • Collect samples of well fluids (oil, gas, water) for analysis and testing purposes. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with testing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure accurate data collection. 
  • Monitor and maintain equipment performance including ESP's and plungers. 
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements always. 
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate activities to workflow. 
  • Document testing results and maintain accurate records of operations and equipment maintenance

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Well Testing operations experience. or previous experience as a Lease Operator accepted. 
  • Experience with Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs), plungers, and other oilfield equipment. 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform hands-on tasks in a field environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean record
  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including:  background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty
